Sita approached us saying that they had a busy landfill site which had a wheelwash but it wasn’t satisfying there environmental requirements. They asked us if we could come to site and come up with a solution. After the initial inspection we established that the exit to the site was extremely muddy and on a slope. The mud was very dense and all they had onsite to wash the wheels as the vehicles exited the site was a drive-through wash area (dipping pool) which they had made and installed themselves many years ago. We advised them that the best course of action due to the density and large quantities of vehicles passing through would be to run two different wheelwashes in conjunction with each other...
